I HAVE just had a bright idea, you could call it brilliant. Instead of dishing out £14,000 on a sculpture — who needs it? — why don't we just turn the Christmas lights on and off every ten minutes?
If it works for the Tate, why not for Okehampton? And just think of the electricity we would save — and the money.
Ho, ho, ho. Happy Christmas.
