OKEHAMPTON'S EDWARDIAN Evening will be packed full of traditional events when it takes place in the town this evening (Thursday).

Residents and visitors can expect entertainment in and around the shops and streets.

Red Lion Yard and the Arcade will be a hive of activity, as well as St James Street, the Charter Hall and the Pannier Market, with music, entertainment and plenty of craft stalls.

Everyone is welcome to come along and enjoy Santa and his sleigh, who will be brought into town by Okehampton Round Table.

There will also be a carol service in Red Lion Yard, which will start at 7pm, as well as the Okehampton Silver Band, who will accompany the carols.

Shops will stay open until 9pm for everyone to enjoy a spot of late night shopping.

Fore Street will be closed to traffic from 6pm to 9pm.
