WOW! What a blast from Donna Baker last week.

Her statement that most of those 20 plus cars converging on Grenofen at that particular time, on the very day the inspection was due to take place were only carrying planning committee members is plainly open to doubt — perhaps they were on the horses parading up and down the footpath as well!

As for her having to give way to all those cars, it was as she said; just common sense but nothing more, as I don't think even the most determined protector of rights of way would attempt to face down twenty cars coming in the opposite direction!

Anyway, the decision has been made and the application rejected, I'm sure there are others with much more important things to write to this paper about then wedding venues, narrow lanes and cars, so let's leave it at that.
