A RESIDENT from Hatherleigh has expressed thanks to two men who stopped to change her burst tyre earlier this month.

Olivia Pitts, whose tyre needed changing on the Okehampton showground road, said she was extremely grateful for the help.

She said: 'It was a very hot and sunny day and the two men, a farmer and a taxi driver, were very kind to stop when they were both busy.

'It just shows that chivalry still exists here in Devon and I hope to see them at the Okehampton Show, so I can buy them both a drink.'
