A ZUMBATHON was held at Horrabridge Primary School on Monday raising more than £600 for Leukaemia Research.

The event, organised by Tracy Horton and her daughter Beth, hosted 30 participants.

Tracy said: ‘It was two hours of Zumba raising money for Leukaemia Research and the ticket sales will go straight to the charity.

‘Participants donated raffle prizes along with local businesses and members of Slimming World.

‘Everybody that attended thoroughly enjoyed the event and loved the feel good feeling that Zumba gave them.

‘Everyone is more than happy to take part in Zumba and when it’s raising money for charity people are quite happy to double the money they pay. It’s great that people can laugh throughout and do something good at the same time.’
