WE would like to thank all the marshals, sponsors, ladies and gentlemen who did the barbecue and walkers and runners who made the Sourton Scramble on June 4 so successful. On a searingly hot day all went very well with £880 being raised for Sourton Hall and Sourton Church. We would particularly like to express our thanks to our sponsors without whose support we could not hold this event; given the heat particular thanks to Tarka Water Ltd who supplied bottled water for all competitors which was gratefully received.
