CALLINGTON Rotary Club, now 40 years old, held its annual Valentine's Extravaganza on February 14 at the community college — 175 guests attended, enjoyed a three-course buffet and tried to win some money on the eight horse races.
The event, compered by Lewis Bond, was a geat success and raised over £3,000 for local Rotary charities. The raffle made over £500 which will be used to provide exercise equipment in the Launceston Road recreation field.
This event would not have been possible without help from local businesses and the generous folk of Callington and surrounding areas. Many, many thanks for your support.
