ON behalf of Cogs and Wheels Ladies Morris I should like to thank all those members of the public who gave so generously to our collection for the cancer support charity FORCE over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The drizzle and cold wind kept many away from Okehampton shopping centre on Saturday morning, but those that were there appreciated the dancing of the side and that of our supporters, Winkleigh and Grimspound Morris.
The side successfully completed their walk from Sticklepath to Launceston and are well on the way to reaching their target in aid of the new extension to FORCE's centre.

A BIG thank you to everyone in the Okehampton and District area who gave so generously during Red Cross Week. Also to all our hard working volunteer collectors, and for the co-operation of Donalds Menswear and Co-op store.
This year a total of £913-18 was raised including £67-46 proceeds from the street collection held on Saturday May 7th.
