ON behalf of Cogs and Wheels Ladies Morris I should like to thank all those members of the public who gave so generously to our collection for the cancer support charity FORCE over the Bank Holiday weekend.
The drizzle and cold wind kept many away from Okehampton shopping centre on Saturday morning, but those that were there appreciated the dancing of the side and that of our supporters, Winkleigh and Grimspound Morris.
The side successfully completed their walk from Sticklepath to Launceston and are well on the way to reaching their target in aid of the new extension to FORCE's centre.

A BIG thank you to Darren Evans who has cycled over 900 miles from John O'Groats to Land's End, to raise funds for Tavistock Parkinsons Support Group. The members would like to thank Darren for his efforts, Matthew (his brother) for providing support to Darren during the whole ride and the whole Evans family for helping to make this amazing ride possible.
The group meets on the last Tuesday of each month, between 10am-12.30pm, at The Anchorage centre.
