We are very grateful to all the helpers and members of the public and we are pleased to have raised £462 for the lifeboat funds.

THE Plymouth and District branch of the Parkinson?s Disease Society would like to thank everyone who contributed to the street collection in Tavistock on October 5.
The total sum raised was £172.54, which will be used for the benefit of local people with Parkinson?s and their carers.

I AM writing on behalf of Lamerton Primary School to say thank you to Tavistock Lions Club for the large amount of daffodil bulbs that they gave us.
Our headteacher, Mrs Mitchell, has brought some tubs to put the bulbs in. They are really going to brighten up the playground in the spring and visitors to the school will be impressed.
Our playground is tarmac so it looks quite dull at the moment, so the flowers will brighten it up a lot. Thank you very much Tavistock Lions Club!
