JUST before 11am my telephone went dead in the middle of a call.
From a nearby call-box the fault was reported, the line checked and found to be in working order, and the fault pin-pointed to my telephone set. A temporary telephone was delivered by 12.45pm.
The Monday morning post brought my replacement telephone ? this within 24 hours of my reporting the fault.
