EIGHT teams from seven schools across Devon and Cornwall joined the hosts for the second Mount House hockey tournament. Mount House were defending the trophy that they won last year.

It was a highly successful and enjoyable afternoon of sport, characterised by some excellent hockey, keen competition and good sportsmanship.

The Mount House team did well, coming second in their pool matches to progress to the semi-final where they lost by one goal to Truro School. In the play-off for third and fourth, Mount House beat Blundell's B 2-0

The tournament was won by Blundell's A team, who defeated Truro in the final. The other schools taking part were Shebbear, Exeter Cathedral School, St Michael's Tawstock, Stover and St Peter's.
