IN response to visitors who have asked for more classical music at RHS Garden Rosemoor, a classical concert by the Ten Tors Orchestra will take place on Saturday, June 14 at 7.30pm.

The Ten Tors Orchestra was created in 1999 to give professional chamber orchestra concerts round Dartmoor.
It rapidly developed a reputation for its popular and creative programmes and very fine performances directed by conductor Simon Ible.
The orchestra attracts top British soloists and for this concert it will be welcoming the internationally acclaimed recorder player Piers Adams. The programme will include recorder concertos by Vivaldi and Telemann plus music by Mozart, Britten and Scarlatti.
Sarah Chesters, Rosemoor?s Events co-ordinator, is delighted to welcome such a prestigious orchestra to Rosemoor and says: ?to have such an international star as Piers Adams is a real coup for the West Country?.
The garden will be open from 6pm and visitors will be able to bring a picnic to eat before the perfomance as parts of the formal garden will be open for picnics.
