THE fifth annual ShelterBox Dartmoor Challenge was hailed as a great success by organisers, raising more than £35,000 for the disaster relief charity.
ShelterBox challenged teams of four to carry a ShelterBox packed with survival equipment, weighing around 20kg, across 30 miles of Dartmoor National Park in a tough two-day hike.
Laura Jepson, ShelterBox fundraising officer, said: 'The Dartmoor Challenge is always the highlight of the fundraising calendar for us and this year didn't fail to disappoint.
'It was such a great weekend. Everyone really rose to the challenge, showing true grit and determination. I can't wait until next year.'
