GLANBIA Foods? Taw Valley Creamery in North Tawton has scooped top prizes at this year?s Great Yorkshire Show.

The cheesemaker?s Devon-based operation proved to be a cut above the rest as it was awarded the prestigious title of Best Territorial for its Red Leicester.

The creamery also received awards in the show?s Mild Cheddar and Double Gloucester categories.

Bruce MacDonald, cheese grading manager for Glanbia Foods UK, said: ?We have already had a string of successes at this year?s cheese shows and this latest performance is a credit to our cheesemakers? commitment to developing superior flavour styles.?
