A TAVISTOCK man who braved the shave for Macmillan Cancer Support has raised hundreds of pounds for the charity.

Tom Morris, who will be known to many in the town for his cheerful manner on the customer service desk in Morrisons, chose to shave off his long locks and beard for Macmillan to give something back to those who looked after him when he really needed them and for others who are in need of their services.

Tom has raised £724.99 in cash donations and a further £50 in online donations. Tom has requested a match fund request from Morrisons, so his total could potentially reach £1,549.98.

Tom expressed his thanks to everyone who donated and supported him during his fundraising efforts.
