2312 (Tavistock) Squadron RAF Air Cadets were delighted to see their new chaplain formally appointed recently.

The Rev Brian Anderson, Plymouth and Cornwall Wing Chaplain, presented the Rev Steven Martin with his certificate of appointment and unit Commanding Officer Sqn Ldr John Olver presented Rev Martin with his badge of office.

CO Olver said: ‘We are delighted to have Steven as our chaplain he has already attended several times to talk with staff and cadets.

‘Steven hopes to visit cadets on camp at an RAF station in the summer and get a taste of service life.’
