Plymouth Grammar School Old Boys C 0 Tavistock A 7 AFTER a couple of weeks without a win, Tavistock needed to get themselves back into the points. Tavistock wanted to impose themselves on a team that was sitting at the bottom of the table and this they certainly did. The away side started playing their networking style of hockey and working their way down both flanks. Tavistock soon found themselves ahead by a goal from Andrews, following a slick move from a short corner. As usual, it took a while for Tavistock to really get into their rhythm but once found, it was superb to see. Josh Cowen and Adam Holland gave the home side no respite and scored superb goals to add to the tally. Edwards and Aveyard dominated the centre for the visitors and with the back line controlling all that came at them, the score should have been more. Christmas comes with Tavistock sitting well in the league and looking forward to the second half of the season.
