THERE will be more local producers than ever before at this year?s Cotehele Winter Food Fair. Angie Coombs, manager of Taste of the West in Cornwall, said: ?With more producers than ever before, this year?s fair is the perfect opportunity to secure those special, unique Christmas gifts for friends and family. ?With so much lovely food and drink all in one place the fair really is a food lover?s paradise.? The fair, now in its 14th year, takes place on Saturday November 17 and Sunday November 18 from 10am to 4pm at the National Trust property in Cotehele?s Great Barn. Food and drink lovers are in for a treat with a huge selection of offerings to sample and purchase. There will be local farmhouse cheeses, jams, pickles, apple juice, meat, crisps, breads, cakes, chocolates, beers, meads, ice cream, yogurts and many other delicacies on display. Admission to the fair is free and visitors can also enjoy Cotehele?s gardens as part of the fair.
