THE Tamar Valley Male Voice Choir would like to thank all those who packed St Eustachius' Church last Friday evening for their Grand Gala Concert with the Jerabinka Children's Choir from the Czech Republic.
Singing to such a large and appreciative audience proved to be a fitting climax to an extremely busy but highly successful visit of the choir to the region, despite the inclement weather.
TVMVC promised a musical experience not to be missed and we are sure that those who were present would agree that this claim was not misplaced. TVMVC also extend much grateful thanks to those families in the Tavistock area who hosted members of the Jerabinka Choir.

THE trustees of The Mary Budding Trust would like to express their thanks to the members of the Tavistock Inner Wheel who very kindly spent the whole of April 3 collecting on behalf of the charity outside Morrisons. A cheque for £200 was recently forwarded to The Mary Budding Trust. This was a generous contribution and enormously appreciated.
The following month, numerous local organisations from Tavistock's twin town Pontivy held a concert on European Day. Half the profits from the concert were donated to the Mary Budding. Such kindness is a good illustration of twinning at its best!
The Mary Budding Trust supports children with special needs aged eleven and under, living in the area serviced by West Devon Borough Council or in the vicinity of Tavistock, by providing grants and equipment.
