Icons in art is the subject of an illustrated talk to be given by art historian Dr Geri Parlby. 

The talk, entitled 'The Origins of the Icon—Painted wooden panels or Windows to Heaven?'will be at Brentor Village Hall on Saturday November 19 at 7.30pm with all proceeds going to the St Michael de Rupe Church restoration fund. Tickets are £6.
