THOUSANDS of young people set out on to Dartmoor last weekend, as they undertook the annual Ten Tors challenge.

Carrying overnight equipment with them, the teams navigated their way across the moor for distance of 35, 45 and 55 miles.

And much to relief of all who took part, the heavy rain which fell during the week stopped on Friday, leaving bright and breezy weather in which to enjoy the event.
