IT?S the last dance ? until the New Year at least- for Wally?s Dance Party in Tavistock, next month.
The last ballroom and sequence dancing party before Christmas takes place at Tavistock Town Hall on Wednesday, December 11, but the fun dance evenings return on a regular basis in the New Year.
Wally Wright of Plymouth said the first dance evening attracted a reasonable turnout despite bad weather, but more people were always welcome, particularly gentlemen. He said everyone who attended said a regular dance evening in Tavistock was long overdue.
Wally has run his dance evenings for more than six months at the College of Further Education in Plymouth, before expanding the classes to give people living in West Devon the chance to put on their dancing shoes.
