BRIDESTOWE and Sourton Follies have taken off with a bang!
Rehearsals for their new production for 2001 — Hi above — 2001 a Space Oddity' are rocketing along full of great ideas and enthusiasm.
The show is set in a holiday camp entertainments hall (Hi De Hi, folks!) by way of a revue, which will be suitable for children of all ages. There will be a series of sketches, mime, songs, comic acts, contributions from local children, musical interludes — plus a few surprises.
The second act will have real lift-off as the cast set off on a long journey where they will meet a lot of strange characters.
Follies stars will be reaching for the stars on Friday and Saturday February 23 and 24, from Bridestowe Village Hall, 7pm onwards.
So, beam yourselves up with the cast and have a really good family night out. A bar and refreshments will be available during the interval along with a rather exciting raffle prize.
Tickets £3 and £1.50 for children under 12 years, from Riverside Stores, Bridestowe, or on the night if there are any left. Proceeds will go towards the new village hall fund.
