THE Friends of St Michael's Church in Brentor are inviting keen walkers to join them for the Brentor Michaelmas Walk.

The circular parish walk will cover a distance of eight and a half miles, following public footpaths, mostly quiet lanes and a restricted byway.

Children under 14 shold be accompanied by an adult. Appropriate footwear and clothing according to the day's weather is advisable and walkers should bring a packed lunch.

The walk takes place on Saturday (September 29), starting at 10am at Brentor Village Hall. Light refreshments can be purchased at the village hall at the end of the walk.

There is a suggested minimum donation of £3 per person.
