Several members from Tavistock Athletic Club competed in the recent Saltash Aquathlon.  The event consisted of a 500m pool swim followed by a 5k road run along the streets of Saltash. 

The Tavistock male senior team which were Pete Jarman, Richard Drage and James Best each completed the event in superb times and were the first male senior team.  This was a great achievement considering two of the team were juniors.  The team also achieved excellent results in their own age categories —  Richard Drage first, James Best second and Pete Jarman third.
