IN the Okehampton and district Table Tennis League the Bill Fogerty Cup quarter-final results were as follows: Tavistock A beat Young Ones B (w/o); Okehampton B lost to Anchorage A (0 -9); The Young Ones beat Academy A (9-0); North Wyke lost to The J Team (2-7).
This now sets up an all Tavistock based semi-final between Tavistock A and Anchorage A and an all Okehampton based semi-final between last season's two finalists The Young Ones and the J Team with The Young Ones going all out to avenge their narrow 4-3 in last season's final.
The Bill Fogerty consolation tournament quarter-final results (for teams knocked out in the first round) were as follows: Young Ones C (bye); Okehampton A beat Moretonhampstead (w/o); Anchorage C lost to Anchorage B (0-9); Milton Abbot lost to Bridestowe (3-6). The semi-final matches will be between Young Ones C and the current holders Okehampton A, and between Anchorage B and Bridestowe.
