The Tyndall College mentioned by David Lausen in a letter on the same day provides information on a survey they conducted this year. It indicates a vote of 88% against this project. A substantial majority, which as an aside, any politician would give their ?eye teeth? for during an election! Secondly, a parish questionnaire, which was used to collect and collate information of people?s needs and concerns in regard to their parish, similarly indicates an overwhelming feeling against this ?industrialisation? of the countryside. Only 0.6% of respondents were pro the project! The count is all the more amazing as no question contained in the questionnaire actually mentioned biomass or related topics at all. The responses were all contained in the ?free comment? boxes of the document. What a pity the developers (PPL) cannot be so transparent and open.
