YELVERTON Golf Club ladies enjoyed a match play competition with sides led by captain Christine Longden and secretary Di Reardon (pictured). The morning began with sunshine ? the captain?s team were all wearing something blue, and the secretary?s team were in pink. But blustery winds and sleeting downpours came in from the west. Those brave enough to carry on to the 13th hole did so, while others walked in after agreeing to halve their match. The final result ended in a win to the secretary?s team, 1 up.
