A 1937 Trojan was among the vintage cars to be seen at Okehampton Station this weekend. The three-door tourer was one of the oldest vehicles on display at the Dartmoor Railway?s first-ever vintage car rally which was held on Saturday and Sunday. On both days, the station car-park was full of classic vehicles. The Trojan, which was driven by Okehampton?s Shaun Haskell, drew many admiring glances in particular. The car is based on a 1920§s design and there are only 30 left in the country. Shaun said: ?I only bought it a year ago, but it was my wedding car 12 years previously. It is a 1500cc two stroke with four pistons, two con rods and two spark plugs and with a chain drive. It does 30mph flat out!? The rally was such a success organisers have already begun to plan another event at the station.
