A CHARITY auction in aid of those suffering from Leukaemia has raised a staggering £1,300.

The auction, at the Clovelly Inn on Friday December 3, was in aid of the Okehampton Supporters' Group of the Exeter Leukaemia Fund.

The supporters' group, set up by leukaemia sufferer John Barton earlier this year, has now raised in excess of £8,000, which is being used to support people with the illness across Devon.
