WEST Devon and Torridge MP John Burnett welcomed sixth form students and teachers from Tavistock College to Westminster last Thursday, as they enjoyed a day in the capital.
The students of history and business studies watched the Speaker?s procession in the central lobby, toured Westminster Hall and the crypt before meeting Mr Burnett at Portcullis House.
Mr Burnett said: ?These students were a lively and intelligent group? they asked a wide range of perceptive and thoughtful questions.?
