A PACKED calendar of events for Okehampton College sixth form students kicked off recently with a spectacular week-long sports extravaganza.

The students held their Sixth Form Olympiad, with Year 12 and Year 13 students pitted against each other in football, netball, basketball, rugby and a tug of war.

The event was organised by the sixth form committee to raise funds for charity and for future events planned by the committee.

The hard work of the committee raised an impressive £142, and is just the first of many events planned over the next 12 months.
