THE talents of the South West?s next generation of chefs will be on show today, tomorrow and Saturday at Devon County Show.
Students from the region?s first Academy of Culinary Excellence will be assisting their tutor ? herself a top Devon chef ? as she lends her support to the sourcing of locally produced regional ingredients.
In what is a new and exciting partnership, Tina Bricknell-Webb of Percy?s Country Hotel and Restaurant, at Germansweek, together with four of her students, will be performing cookery demonstrations on behalf of Tesco.
The supermarket chain is endeavouring to source more local lines from producers in Devon and Cornwall. The company has asked Tina, who is linked with the utilisation and promotion of local produce, to be their chef for public appearances in the South West.
