THE 'Belstone Landmarks' letterbox walk is making a triumphant return following its successful debut last year, with new letterboxes to be found.

Last year, twelve letterboxes depicting landmarks in and around the village were put on the moor around a four-mile circuit of four tors.

By October 2011, over 270 clue sheets to help find the twelve letterboxes had been sold, raising almost £600 for Belstone Village Hall.

The 12 new stamps designed by Belstone Art Group members have kept the theme of landmarks.

Last year's stamps included the Nine Maidens stone circle, Belstone Tor and the village church.

The new stamps are hidden along a four-mile route which goes along the Belstone Tor ridge, down into Taw Marsh, eventually returning to Belstone, close to the river.

To obtain a set of clues please send a stamped self-addressed envelope and a cheque for £2.50 made payable to Belstone Village Hall to Chris Walpole, Little Gables, Belstone, Devon EX20 1RD.

The clues are also available from The Tors pub in the village.

The boxes are on the moor between now and the end of September.
