THE Chagford branch of Cancer Research UK is once again holding its annual street market in Chagford Square next weekend. On Saturday, August 6, from 9am, visitors will be able to buy cakes, plants, nearly new clothes, books and bric-a-brac. There will be the chance to try your luck on the tombola or buy tickets to win either prizes in the grand draw or a hand-made quilt and wool blanket. Coffee will be available in Endecott House. In the afternoon, in the Jubilee Hall, there will be a bumper jumble sale with many more bargains from 2.30pm onwards.
