Cat Weatherill storyteller and author presents a new selection of Bawdy Stories that are fast, funny and not offensive at the venue on Saturday, April 1. This ribald selection of stories ? performed in a cabaret atmosphere ? is set in the town of Much Meddling on the Marsh and based on the Canterbury Tales and the Arabian Nights. Cat became a performance storyteller in 1998, has performed on both radio and television. She is the author of ?Barkbelly?, the captivating book, as much for adults as for the children for whom it was designed. The venue will present a wine bar atmosphere with Cat literally taking centre stage, for her storytelling, singing and dulcimer playing. Calstock Village Hall has a bar with a wide range of bottled beers and wines both organic and non-organic and is available for private hire. The event is suitable only for over 16s.
