YEAR seven students at Tavistock College have had the opportunity to take part in a number of new extracurricular clubs this term.
The new clubs include the British Sign Language Club, which meets at Friday lunchtimes and who will be signing to a carol at the school's carol service on December 19.
Catering manager at the school, Mrs Roberts has also started a professional catering course with a group who meet in the college kitchen after school on Tuesdays to learn how to cook and prepare various delicious items of food.
The students have spent a few weeks learning about dough and Chelsea buns. The group was recently set the task of making the Christmas puddings for the college Christmas dinner later in the term.
