A SPONSORED walk in aid of Hearing Dogs for Deaf People is being held at the National Trust's Cotehele Estate on Sunday, October 18.
Participants have a choice of two routes — a four-mile yomp around the estate or a 1.5-mile level walk alongside the river, which is suitable for all ages and abilities.
Janine Sargent, the charity's regional fundraiser in the south west said: 'As well as enjoying a scenic stroll, you will be able to meet some of the south west's working hearing dogs and hearing dog puppies, so please join us and help to raise funds to train more of these special dogs.'
There will be a commemorative medal and a certificate for every participant. Well behaved dogs are welcome and will receive a special treat of their own at the end of the walk.
Entry is £3 for adults and £1 for children/OAPs and participants are encouraged to raise as much money as possible.
To participate, contact Janine on 01208 79786 or email
