PIZWELL Farm in Postbridge is hosting a walk for visitors on Sunday, June 10 at 3pm. Participants will have the chance to visit one of the ancient tenements of Dartmoor, meet the Martin family and see how they farm today compared with 100 years ago. And there will also be an opportunity to buy some naturally reared beef. Hundreds of farms across the country will also be open to the public on June 10, a day which has been declared 'Open Farm Sunday' – organised by LEAF (Linking Environment And Farming) to remind everyone that farms do matter. The event is suitable for all ages and is free but booking is essential, contact Sue Martin on 01822 880223.
