THE new village hall at Bridestowe is now up and running and residents can show off their ballroom dancing skills at one of the events and in classes. There are ballroom dancing lessons every Thursday at 7.15pm and a ball on Sunday. Ball tickets are £15, which includes a buffet supper, and are available from the post office, the White Hart and the Fox and Hounds in the village. Proceeds will go to the village hall. Dress code is black tie and lounge suits. There are also combat fitness classes on Tuesdays at 9.30am and on the last Saturday on the month bacon baps are served in the hall.
