PLYMOUTH Hospitals NHS is opening its door to everyone this Saturday (September 28), with its first open day at Derriford Hospital in more than a decade.

People from West Devon are invited to step inside an operating theatre, step inside a maternity ward, get inside an emergency decontamination tent, and even try hospital food! There is also a career's fair.

The day runs from 10am to 2pm.
