THE workings of a Tudor country gentleman?s household will be brought to life at Cotehele House in East Cornwall this weekend, when re-enactment group The Hungerford Household takes over the National Trust property.
Visitors can see the day to day workings of the household, including the preparation of food and textiles, as well as court and peasant dancing.
There will be a chance to learn the dances performed as well as combat and defence moves from the Tudor era.
Charmian Saunders, visitor services manager, said: ?This will be the second year that Cotehele has held a Tudor living history event. Last year?s event was held on a single day but it proved so popular that we have extended it to a full weekend.
The event, including activities for children, starts at 11am and finishes at 4pm on September 4 and 5 ? normal admission fees apply.
