THIS year's Lych Way Walk, organised by the Dartmoor Rescue Group, will take place on Sunday, September 22.
The walk, which is now in its fourth year, starts at Bellever Car Park and finishes at the Lydford House Hotel, following the route along which coffins were taken to Lydford Parish Church in previous centuries. It starts at 9am and the cut-off time for finishing is 6.30pm.
The walk only has the grid references for each of the checkpoints and each team must plan and prepare their own routes using the information given.
Entries will be accepted from individuals and teams of any number, and the entry fee is £3 per person. A special commemorative cloth badge is available at the extra cost of £1.50.
