YELVERTON Bowling Club ladies on Monday had a match against Standard Harlow Bowling Club from Essex. It was a beautiful afternoon and there were some visitors watching. The game ended in a win for Standard Harlow.

Wednesday saw the ladies play their final friendly away match against Plymstock. Yelverton lost on both rinks.

On Saturday the ladies played the penultimate mixed friendly against Sir Francis Drake, Plymouth. Yelverton found the green fast but despite this three rinks won though. The final score was a narrow defeat for Yelverton.
