TAVISTOCK Squash Club has joined an ?A? list of clubs around the country which have been recognised for their coaching, safety standards and facilities.

The kitemark of approval comes from England Squash and is the latest good news story for the club which was recently awarded a grant from the Lottery for equipment and coaching.

Through the Club Charter scheme England Squash is creating a network of clubs that are safe and child-friendly, accessible and welcoming, have good facilities and provide a range of coaching and competitive opportunities.

Tavistock Squash Club, which has been presented with a Bronze Club Charter, caters for all standards of players and also offers racketball. It runs two men?s teams who compete in the Devon Squash leagues and Plymouth Company leagues but is currently looking for more ladies.
