ONE of the finest gardens in Devon re-opens to visitors next week. In the closed season, the grounds of The Garden House at Buckland Monachorum have undergone a lot of development work, especially in the famous walled garden, and offers a first class visit for both keen gardeners and people who just like to be in beautiful surroundings. Head gardener Matt Bishop and his team say they are looking forward to the new season and will be holding 'Ask The Gardener Days' on a regular basis. Many other exciting events are also being planned. The plant sales area offers a wide selection of plants, many found in the garden and is free to visit while the tea room will be offering high quality value for money food throughout the season.
