THE former Cheriton Bishop Youth Club is looking for an individual or club to take away a table tennis table and other sporting equipment.

The equipment, which includes scaled down pool/snooker tables, is available for a small donation as the club is anxious to free storage space at Cheriton Bishop Village Hall. However, the tables will need a trestle or new legs.

There is a new youth club which now uses the hall but they have brought their own sports equipment.

Sue Bennett, from the former youth club, said: 'The old equipment is taking up valuable storage space so we would be pleased if it was taken away and put to good use, hopefully, perhaps by another club.

'­We are hoping to raise money for the village parish football pitch to buy some goalposts, so any reasonable donation would be accepted and go towards that.'
