THE Tavvy Specials Adult and U16s sides had a good day at Feniton FC where the Devon FA Ability Counts leagues and mini Tournaments took place Sunday.
The Adult leagues were hard fought and some superb goals again from Tavvy striker Tom Wakenshaw saw his side win four, draw one and lost two. Newton Soccability FC finally beat us 3-1 in a super game where Specials keeper Ben Burnard got an injury and had to come off.
The U16s enjoyed a 'round robin' tournament with Exeter, Argyle white and green teams.
Jake Riddolls celebrated scoring the equaliser in style against a strong Exeter side while Louis Rogers showed real skills; there was strong confident play in defence by Alex Taylor, Lee Rosser Lewis and Jack Talbot.
The next leagues are at Plymstock School on the 3rd. April and here in Tavistock on the 8th. May.
