AS part of his Christmas tour, John Burnett MP called in to Okehampton District Hospital on Friday. He was delighted to meet its youngest occupant, Scott Fone, whose parents Mark Fone and Nicola Huxham live in Bere Alston.

Nicola had given birth to Scott three days previously at Exeter Hospital and was then transferred to Okehampton.

She and Scott, her third child and brother for the couple?s two older boys, have been very well looked after by midwife Elizabeth Jeffery and her colleagues at the Okehampton District Hospital.
